Description:
Cutting Back is a group of women (aged 18+) who self harm. Self harm is seen as a coping mechanism, not attention seeking. The group is friendly, mutually supportive and non-judgemental.

Description: Support includes advice on benefits, schooling, training and contact orders, action plans. Evening and some weekend support. Outreach and resettlement worker, part time child support worker, provides advice, support and play activities for children.
Criteria:
Women with or without children escaping domestic violence.
Will not accept women living close to the refuge, or women with drug and alcohol or other problems. No boys over 16 allowed.

Description:
Staff offer advice and support on housing, financial matters, education, health and legal problems. Will liase with schools and social services and housing authorities.
Child care worker and plpaygroup 4 days a week. Also have an outreach worker and a children's outreach worker.
Weekly sessions with health visitor. School nurse visits regularly.
Criteria:
Women with children escaping domestic violence. Women without children also considered but women with children are the priority.
Will not accept women with drug, alcohol or other problems likely to cause disturbance to other families. Women with convictions for violence, arson or theft.

We provide floating support for women who live within Nottingham City, and have or are experiencing domestic abuse. Our aim is to provide housing and tenancy related support, and we will signpost on any joint work with other agencies if appropriate.
We provide support with benefits, resettlement, tenancy sustainment, legal advice and safety planning.

Description: Women's Aid provide a one-stop-shop for women experiencing or escaping domestic violence. They provide confidential advice and support access to safe and secure emergency accommodation. Description: Provides a floating support service for women in Gedling and Nottingham with current or previous experience of domestic abuse. The service is open to travellers and sex workers in Nottingham City, and is available to women with or without children. The centre can help women wanting to move away from domestic abuse, and also runs a drop-in service.
Criteria: Women who have experienced domestic abuse and who have additional issues with mental health, drugs or alcohol. Can provide support to women with or without children.
