Framework HA - ASH

Description: 8 Full Time Staff, emergency on-call system. Staff visit each project daily. Keywork system (5 residents per worker), weekly keywork meetings. Agreed individual action plans. Staff provide advice and support around hygiene, cooking, budgeting, benefits and leisure activities. Referral to specialist agencies.

Criteria: Single homeless people experiencing problematic drug use. Can accept couples at some properties.

Minimum age: 16

Framework HA - Chatsworth House

Description: 5 full time and 5 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Compulsory key work system, weekly key work meetings.
Staff provide advice on move-on options as part of the key working process.

Criteria: Single people who require housing support because they have previously found it difficult to maintain independent accommodation.
Will not accept schedule one offenders, those with a history of arson or violence, or those who are chaotic substance misusers.

Minimum age: 18

Framework HA - County Community Houses

Description: Keywork system and individual action plans. Staff visit residents at least weekly, provide lifeskills support around budgeting alcohol and drugs, mental and physical health offending behaviour, family contacts, education, training and employment, social and leisure activities.

Criteria: Single homeless people with support needs.

Will not accept chaotic drug users, those posing an unmanagable risk to other residents or staff.

Minimum age: 16

Framework HA - HASP

Description: Staff provide advice on benefits and help with cooking, cleaning and developing living skills.

Criteria: Single homeless people with alcohol dependence problems. Can accept people with mental health problems, drug problems or learning disabilities as long as alcohol is primary problem.

Framework HA - New Community Houses

Description: Staff are based at the office and visit residents at least weekly. Keyworker system and support plans. Provide medium level of support, including basic support and help with budgeting, alcohol and drugs, health, life skills, employment, training, education, offending behaviour, family contact. Regular liason with criminal justice agencies.

Criteria: Single homeless people with some involvement with the Criminal Justice System.

Will not accept drug users who are not willing to access support, those posing an unmanagable risk to residents/staff. Those with no support needs.

Framework HA - Waterloo Crescent

Description: Keywork system, weekly meetings. Staff provide a high level of support to help residents develop social and living skills, and maintain a level of stability in the community. Staff work in conjunction with other specialist agencies as required.

Criteria: Single homeless people with mental health problems. Also people with secondary issues, including substance misuse, offending behaviour and mild learning difficulties.

Highwood House Family Hostel

Description: Keywork system and twice weekly meetings. Staff provide housing related support including resettlement work and work closely with outside agencies.
Weekly sessions with health visitor and midwife.

Criteria: Homeless families and pregnant women accepted as being homeless and in priority need.

Will not accept sex offenders. People with a history of serious arson.

Minimum age: 16

London Road Project

Description: Staff offer advice and support on mental health, drugs and alcohol, legal issues, benefits, budgeting, training and employment, health and hygiene. Twice weekly doctors surgery and homeless nurse team. Needle exchange provided by the Health Shop.

Criteria: Rough sleepers and other single homeless people, including those with an issue around drugs, alcohol and mental health.

Minimum age: 18

Mellors Lodge

Description: 6 full time staff, on-call cover plus security staff at night. Keywork system, weekly meetings. Support plan, reviewed monthly, covers housing, tenancy sustainment, support for children, referrals to specialist agencies for drug and alcohol problems.
Weekly sessions from midwife and health visitor.

Criteria: Homeless people with at least one child, or those expecting a child, who are accepted as being homeless and in priorty need with the Housing Act 1996.

Will not accept people with convictions for sex offences.

Minimum age: 16

Description: Staff run life skill programmes including budgeting, cooking debt management, hygiene and personal care, education and training. In house college Tue-Fri.

Criteria: Single homeless people with support needs including people with drug or alcohol issues, can accept applications from couples or people with dogs. Will prioritise former rough sleepers.

Salvation Army - Acorn Lodge

Description: 5 full time staff, plus night security. Compulsory keywork system, regular keywork meetings. Staff provide a high level of support, including intensive life skills training. Regular house meetings.

Criteria: Men and women aged 55 and over with an unstable lifestyle, who have high support needs and who may be at a crisis point in their lives.

Criteria: Single homeless people with low to medium support needs who have a local connection to Nottingham City.
