Description:
Base 51 provides a wide range of confidential support and services for young people aged 12-25 years. Services include counselling, under 18's service, medical service, contraception & sexual health service, condom registration point (C-Card). Drugs and alcohol advice, housing advice, benefits advice, rough sleepers support, support for young parents, accredited learning opportunities, learning support scheme.
Practical services include showers, laundry and cafe.

Description:
The out-patient community base offers a comprehensive treatment service for clients who have drug related problems. The clinic offers a wide range of tratment options providing individualised based care and will allocate a key worker to work toward mutually agreed treatment goals. A range of prescribing options are offered, including detoxification, stabilisation and harm minimisation based prescribing. Other interventions include:

Description: Offering individual treatment for people with alcohol problems. Fast track assessments offered in partnership with the Hospital Alcohol and Drugs Liaison Team, also facilitating early discharge from general medical wards (often within 24 hours). Ensuring high quality care is transferred directly to the team, to continue detoxification incorporating close monitoring of any existing health problems and relapse prevention. Each service user has a programme of care designed to meet their individual needs, co-ordinated by their key worker. Group therapy, abstinence and controlled drinking programmes run along side other therapy groups, such as anxiety management and complementary therapies.
Criteria: Age 18 and over. History of excessive alcohol misuse with physical/mental health related difficulties. Safe guarding issues, offending behaviour including perpetrators and victims of domestic violence, for those based within the Nottinghamshire area.
Minimum age: 18

Substance use – needle exchange, safer injecting advice, harm reduction, overdose information, HIV and Hep C testing including hep A + B vaccination, Auricular Acupuncture, one to one support on any aspect of substance use. They also run a service for steroid users.
Sexual health- Pregnancy tests, HIV same day testing, advice on any aspect of sexual health, also run condom distribution.
Gay workers available for support around sexuality and safer sex.
Criteria: Any person wishing to discuss any aspect of sexual health and substance use.
