Description: GU Clinic is a place where a person can be tested, and if required, treated for all sexually transmitted infections. The service is totally confidential and staff are very friendly, there's no need to feel embarrassed!

Criteria: Anyone who thinks they may have been at risk of a sexually transmitted infection.

Description: Nurse led clinic offers support, advice, info, free pregnancy testing, chlamydia screening and treatment, emergency contraception and on site contraceptive issuing.

Criteria: Young people aged 13-25

Minimum age: 13

Description: Helpline providing healthcare advice and information for the public. Callers can speak directly to experienced nurses who answer worries or questions on health care. Assists callers in making the right healthcare choice. Can give information on local doctors, pharmacies, dentists and support groups.

24 hour helpline.

Description: Healthcare advice, information and treatment including a 7 day a week service, treatment and advice from an experienced NHS nurse, instant access to health advice and info on other services, advice on how to stay healthy (e.g. smoking cessation advice), info on local out-of-hours GP and dental services, info on local pharmacy services, treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.

Description: POW! provides a free, comprehensive, confidential, full-time drop-in and an outreach service to those involved in, at risk of becoming involved in or wishing to exit prostitution and drug misuse. They aim to ensure appropriate services are accessible to the prostitute community and provide information, support, advocacy, referrals to other agencies, basic counselling and advice on all matters relating to: personal safety whilst working as a prostitute, sexual health, reducing or ceasing drug use, social support, family planning, lifestyle changes, prevention and exiting from prostitution.

Criteria: Females/males involved or who may have an involvement in prostitution/drug misuse. Families/friends of those involved in prostitution/drug misuse. Services available to the wider community. POW is a peer education project.

Description: Information and advice on all aspects of sexually transmitted infections and HIV prevention.

24 hour telephone helpline.

Criteria: General public.

Description: Substance use – needle exchange, safer injecting advice, harm reduction, overdose information, HIV and Hep C testing including hep A + B vaccination, Auricular Acupuncture, one to one support on any aspect of substance use. They also run a service for steroid users.
Sexual health- Pregnancy tests, HIV same day testing, advice on any aspect of sexual health, also run condom distribution.
Gay workers available for support around sexuality and safer sex.

Criteria: Any person wishing to discuss any aspect of sexual health and substance use.

Description: Contraception and sexual health service offering the following services: counselling in all methods of contraception; free contraception including condoms; emergency contraception; pregnancy testing for women who are unsure if they wish to continue their pregnancy; unplanned pregnancy counselling and referral; smears, menopause and well woman advice; chlamydia testing for under 25's; teenage clinics; outreach sexual health sessions for under 25's; coil clinic; specialist method and complex care clinic; vasectomy counselling and operation.
