Description: 30 Day abstinence based day care program, providing addiction therapy for those who are alcohol dependant. The daily program consists of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and gives an introduction to the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Criteria: Clients should have a genuine desire for abstinence. They should live in the City or County of Nottinghamshire. All clients will need to be alcohol free on admission, therefore, those who are still drinking will have to seek assistance regarding a detox.
Minimum age: 18yrs
Referral Procedure Clients can self refer by phoning the main telephone number. Assessment usually takes place in the mornings. Clients do not have to be alcohol free to attend the assessment. We also take referrals from other agencies.

Description:
The out-patient community base offers a comprehensive treatment service for clients who have drug related problems. The clinic offers a wide range of tratment options providing individualised based care and will allocate a key worker to work toward mutually agreed treatment goals. A range of prescribing options are offered, including detoxification, stabilisation and harm minimisation based prescribing. Other interventions include:

Asian Support Worker
Blood Borne Virus screening and immunisation
Hepatitis C Treatment Clinic
Joint working with GPs and Criminal Justice services
Referral for inpatient treatment Assessment for residential rehabilitation
Joint working with Drugs Liaison Midwife
Drug specific Psychosocial intenvention, eg, Cue Exposure, CBT therapies
Criteria:
The service provides for those who are misusuing drugs and/or alcohol to a chronic or problematic extent.

Description: Offering individual treatment for people with alcohol problems. Fast track assessments offered in partnership with the Hospital Alcohol and Drugs Liaison Team, also facilitating early discharge from general medical wards (often within 24 hours). Ensuring high quality care is transferred directly to the team, to continue detoxification incorporating close monitoring of any existing health problems and relapse prevention. Each service user has a programme of care designed to meet their individual needs, co-ordinated by their key worker. Group therapy, abstinence and controlled drinking programmes run along side other therapy groups, such as anxiety management and complementary therapies.
Criteria: Age 18 and over. History of excessive alcohol misuse with physical/mental health related difficulties. Safe guarding issues, offending behaviour including perpetrators and victims of domestic violence, for those based within the Nottinghamshire area.
Minimum age: 18

Description: The clinic is an 18 bedded unit providing residential and day care services to help individuals and families recover from the physical and emotional effects of alcohol and drug problems. The clinic is a specialist free-standing addictions facility, specialising in working with NHS and statutory providers. Providing free, confidential advice from drug and alcohol dependants.
Criteria: Anyone over 18 with the primary problem of alcohol and/or drug dependency.
Minimum age: 18
